Investing in fine wines has never been more profitable. The market has had its best start since 2008 and some analysts believe we are heading towards a record breaking year in terms of investor returns.
It is an equally exciting time to be a client of UK Agora. We have heavily invested as a company to ensure we can continue to maintain the high level of service our client’s have come to expect. We will be moving to larger premises shortly where we can continue to expand our operations in all departments.
Members of UK Agora’s Trade Department will continue to expand our trade network on home soil as well as abroad. Our work with AFC Wimbledon is one of the more exciting trade developments. Since our affiliation, AFC Wimbledon have begun an incredible push for promotion which has been a pleasure to watch unfold. As restaurant sponsors, one of our responsibilities will be to supply AFC Wimbledon with wines . This will commence from next season where hopefully there will be more success to celebrate. Our Sales Director, Nicholas Gibbs who is an AFC Wimbledon fan insists that UK Agora has been the football club’s lucky charm. Although we’re sure Wimbledon’s players and management would point out that luck has had nothing to do with their incredible run of form where they have only lost once since the start of April.
Unlike football, the fine wine market is more predictable. However no one predicted Robert Parker Junior retiring from scoring En-Primeur Bordeaux wines. Owning 100 point scored Bordeaux wines is likely to become more rewarding than ever. We expect collectors to rush to market which will in turn boost rarity. It has been speculated that this news may cause a “100 Point Score Bubble”, where we may witness prices rising to unprecedented levels.
